Engagement at the
UN General Assembly
High-level Week 2023
I am honored to announce my appointment as the Thematic Focal Point for the Science-Policy Interface for the UN Major Group for Children and Youth. This pivotal role allows me to bridge the gap between scientific insights and policy decisions, ensuring that the voices of the youth are effectively represented and integrated into global policy dialogues. My engagement at the United Nations General Assembly this year was a testament to this commitment.
I interacted with seasoned delegates and leaders who are championing transformative initiatives at all levels of society. These meetings underscored the importance of fostering a collaborative environment, encouraging cross-cultural dialogue, and embracing a unified vision for a future where both scientific understanding and youth perspectives are at the heart of sustainable development initiatives.
